WABI SABI
now..
an eventful fortnight has finally come to an end. holidays are coming to an end. homework is piling up. In this two weeks, 've seen a Parliament house "live sitting", gone for some career fair shit, been to "Camp!!", and wasted that effective 0.02% of my life. Parliament is just pretty nice, with Rules, RULES and more RULES to follow. Got to see many MPS and Ministers in action. Played around with the "Translator"- a headphone on every seat that plays the proceedings in all four major languages, just change the CHANNEL. I was just listening to Parliament in English, Malay, Tamil and Chinese. then we took a walk to Raffles Place to take the train.. Sweet Reminiscence of my stint in the law firm..
-----HOLS ARE COMING TO AN END------
Homework touched: 100%
Homework Done: 0.05%
Screwed?: Yes, Definitely.
Darn.. Screw it! We aren't even given enough time to do our stuff man.
Recently read a Book on some weird Philosophy of Life: Wabi Sabi..
Wabi Sabi is just amazing. talks about life being a contradiction, enjoying life as it is, simple yet complex, being poor yet rich in our own special way.. at least it takes me away from the piles of work to do.. dammit, such a philosophy just rocks!

so. Chinese new year has come and is going. yet for some reason i'm still in the festive mood. although this year's CNY hasn't really been that fantastic..anyway, to my dear cousin going to australia, go easy on the drugged muffins =) and try not to come back with an auzzie boyfriend.just joking. for some reason i'm currently addicted to heavy metal music so can someone wean me off it? just recovered from a hell of a throat problem. must be the CNY cookies. fitness level has sorta dropped and it sucks. at least i'm gonna have till April to win a lunch from Josh Lee(tht's if i can pwn his arse with a 2.4km time of 1030). well.it's time i got back to my homework, i've got loads of Cmath to do.wonder if Ms See would extend the deadline.. seeing a jumble of numbers now.
signing out..

Someone kill me please. School sucks seriously. Tests, Tests, Tests and Homework!! i think have my hair has been plucked out of my scalp already.
well.. besides all this shit..
Life's not as bad as thought. At least i got to watch the Grammy's in SCHOOL in the comforts of my class.. At least i may be getting my new ipod soon.. At least it's three more days to CNY.. This year's CNY's celebrations in school sucks big time. We have a BIO COMMON TEST in the frking morning. Bloody muggers are gonna get the 6 points for BIO AGAIN. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE.. =) I never seem to be able to MUG these days.. Everytime i hit the books, i end up hitting the bed.. We had fun wishing our CMATH teacher a happy valentine's day.. played the uncut version of James Blunt's "You're Beautiful".. Racism has taken a new twist in 4.13. Now we've got the "bloody indians" gang and the "mungen (yellow in hindi)" gang, all in the name of fun.
Yesterday's Valentine's Day was just a normal boring day with heaps of homework again. No flowers, no roses, no love poems, no dinners, just worksheets and workbooks to date me through the night. Well, the only good thing about being single is the FREEDOM i get!! At least i get to socialise and still have fun. C'mon guys and girls out there, at this age, shouldn't we just be having fun and makingmanymanymany friends and not just stick to one "lifelong soulmate"? If i would knock some sense into you all..
Well, it's getting late and i've gotta go to school soon.

've been really busy this whole 3 weeks. Had two weeks of IBA, working as a lawyers' assistant as well as an unofficial office boy. It was a really great experience, wearing a suit, going to court, giving people the impression that i was a 22 year old law graduate (eek.) Well.. i kinda look weird in formal attire, was planning on posting it here, but thinking of the consequences, maybe not.. jo, guess you gotta try and get the photo from me via MSN =) To my good ol' mates, tzin, hannah, joanne and whoever else that i may have neglected this 3 weeks, i really beg for forgiveness. Believe me, i am on my knees now. 've been really busy with so many CCA meetings as well.. Wonder when i'll ever be taking a GOOD break.. but then again, life would be so meaningless without all these troubles. i'll make sure i go out with all the friends that i agreed to go out with..! Oh ya, F.Y.I, my computer was like down for about two weeks. Corrupted. Luckily the dear repairman managed to revive it. Now it's good as new, with an added 250GB of memory. uber* a few days before this posting. i just completed my "Princess Hours" marathon. i was so crazy that i even watched 3 to 4 discs everyday. No i can even sing along withthe Korean Soundtrack, talk about addictions. Well, this post signals the revival of my spirit of blogging once more.

Well, today's the last day of school! and all great things must come to an end, every good beginning must have and excellent ending. 313 CT Mr Paul Cheong! You are one of the greatest teachers to walk into the classroom. For some reason as you bade farewell to us, i was trying to hold back my tears. i was really touched by your passion for teaching, your jokes(sometimes quite lame though), and all that you have given to us. To me, i am and always will be grateful to you for being a great counsellor. you encouraged me to fight on till the battle was won, you taught me that education wasn't just a 100m sprint, but a marathon. Indeed, YOU RAISE ME UP! if the only way to get you back into this school is to get into trouble, i think the entire 313('06) and 413('07) would do just tht.. You principles of life are just cool, like "sure die one"etc. i hope 20 years down the road i would be able to remember all the things you have taught us. Thx a lot and God Bless!
